Terrible experience. Scheduled in Fernando’s crew for spray foam weeks in advance, no show! Spoke with him the morning of and he promised guys would be on site by noon, never showed up. I couldn’t meet my deadlines as a contractor because of his unreliability. Had to call another spray foam company. I never received a phone call to reschedule and he ignored my calls. Very unprofessional.

Wow! The difference in the summer and winter temperatures in the home are really dramatic. I think we'd been living with poor insulation so long that we had just gotten used to it. Give them a call. This work will pay for itself once you save on the heating and cooling.

We did some research on insulation when moving into our home and performed an amateur inspection of our own. Smoke damage, mold infestation, asbestos and water damage. We had it all!!

We contacted North Star upon the recommendation of a new neighbour and because we were impressed with their certifications and reputation. They sent trained pros to help assess the damage and do the replacement properly. Everything was cleaned and removed afterwards. Thank you guys!

Northstar was the third company we called and the only one to get back to us on the same afternoon. I really had no idea the difference between the traditional fiberglass, spray foam, blown-in method, etc. They do a very good job at explaining that stuff and letting you make your own decision. Prices seem fair and reputation is good. Definitely worth a call.

We used cellulose injection because it's green and best fit with the unusual shape of our upper floors. From the initial removal through to the custom fitting, they were very thorough, fast, and clean. I'm looking forward to a reduced energy bill during peak seasons; we understand that cellulose ought to be the best for this. Fernando and the guys are super easy to work with. Happy to pass on out best to Northstar.

All the work was completed within a day or two. Their work is well within my budget and was substantially lower in price compared to the other insulation and mold removal companies. They showed up on time for the quote and set up everything properly and cleaned up well after the job was over. Truly professional.

We hired Northstar Insulation because we needed someone who could take care of mold removal at the same time as looking at insulation.

My son found some visible mold in the attic and it was very damp. Northstar’s experts came in and handled it with a minimum of disturbance. The antimicrobial solution kills mold and should prevent it from returning.

The subsequent inspection suggested replacing the attic insulation and Northstar did that at a reasonable rate. I'm very happy with the all round level service!

I am really satisfied with the results I’ve gotten from Northstar Insulation. Clean and precise. Easy to reach and discuss with. They took care of mold, installed the fiberglass, and cleaned up after themselves. We've already told the neighbours to call about inspections.

The crew did a fantastic job at installing insulation throughout the second floor and attic. Would definitely use the service again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have insulation done properly in their home.

They do a lot of associated services, so it's really a one-stop shop. We opted for the spray foam as I've heard it's quite efficient. So far we're not disappointed. We did haggle a bit over price but settled on a fair amount.
