I purchased an Aquadis porcelain belly sink more than 20 years ago. It's fantastic and I'm sad that I can't get another one for my new house. I appreciate their faucets didn't perform so well, but the sink was a gem.

I just found out today that Aquadis no longer exists. The brand was owned by Bath Depot / Bain Depot, headquartered in Blainville, QC. Bath Depot started a new brand called KEBO Faucets. This way any warranties tied to Aquadis are no longer valid. When you look at their website kebofaucet.com all you can do is look at their catalogue. I phoned Bath Depot headquarters in Blainville, QC today to get a ceramic cartridge for my Aquadis faucet and since the brand no longer exists, they can't help me. But, I can purchase a cartridge for $49.99. How convenient.

My aquadis shower cartidge had a little piece of green plastic that snapped off. This allowed the handle to spin around and around. It is cheaply made and aquadis cannot be found or contacted on the internet. Their website aquadis.com doesn't work. I think Rona sold these products at one point, and there is supposed to be a lifetime warranty, but how can you get service if you can't even contact them? I will complain to Rona and I do not recommend this company or its products to anyone.

Our main floor bathroom Aquadis faucet failed causing a flood. Turns out inside the lovely looking 2-handled chrome faucet was a cheap plastic piece that broke sending hot water spewing out everywhere. The water was running for hours before we arrived home to find a partially flooded main floor and basement. We had to rip out all the laminate flooring which was ruined from the water. If you have an Aquadis faucet replace it ASAP before this happens to you. I've read other cases of this occurring as well. The Aquadis logo is at the very back of the faucet and it's very hard to see. The plastic piece that failed is behind a brass threaded piece, you cannot see it from the outside as it's sealed in.

We had the chrome finish flaking off of just one area of a bathroom faucet. Aquadis said this was "normal wear and tear" and that their "lifetime" finish warranty didn't cover "corrosion" (from water?). The company does not honor their warranties. Plus, since they're in Canada, if you live in the US, you don't have recourse to consumer services such as the BBB. Do avoid them.

I purchased an Aquadis bathroom Vanity including the faucet in 2006. Last night well after midnite, the faucet fell apart flooding my basement. Luckily, I woke up before the entire basement flooded. I am still mopping today. The plumber came this morning and showed me what a poorly constructed plastic piece of junk the faucet was inside the pretty exerior. Both the hot and the cold feeds broke and came right out of the housing.
This is pretty scary stuff. I would never buy their products again.
