Central City Surrey is a great place to shop, eat, and spend time all in one spot. The mall has a wide variety of stores, from popular brands to smaller shops, so you can easily find what you’re looking for. It’s also very conveniently connected to public transit, which makes it super easy to access.

The food court has plenty of options with something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a full meal. The overall environment is clean, modern, and well-maintained, which makes the shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable.

One of the best parts about Central City is how lively it feels, especially with students from SFU nearby. It gives the place a nice energy without feeling too crowded. Security is visible, which adds to the sense of safety while shopping.

Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient mall in Surrey that offers a little bit of everything. Definitely a good place to hang out, shop, or grab a bite with friends!

Central City is a good mall for daily shopping. 🛍️🛒 It has important stores like Walmart, T&T Supermarket, and Shoppers Drug Mart, which makes it very convenient. 🏪👍 The SkyTrain connection is a big plus. 🚇✨ The mall is modern and spacious. 🏢🌟 Sometimes it can feel busy or crowded, but overall it’s a practical and useful shopping center for S
urrey residents. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🛍️

I met my sisters for some shopping at Winners so we all parked near Best Buy, my sister had her baby stroller and needed the elevator. We then walked to Skye Avenue for dinner. After dinner at 7:30pm, we had to walk back to our cars… you’d think we can walk the same way we came in right? No. The security person would not allow us to walk through the mall due to it being “closed” (there were many ppl including workers in the mall still) and completely couldn’t care less that my sister had a baby and needed to use the elevator. Instead, they made us walk outside, in the freezing cold, around the entire mall where there’s addicts on every corner, in a bustling parking lot with cars pulling out in every direction because these security guards were power tripping over their position. They could hardly speak English, I don’t think she understood that we said we parked all the way by Best Buy.

How ironic that the Central City Security website prides itself on maintaining public safety when it’s like they do the literal opposite. Please hire people who KNOW what they’re doing and GENUINELY care for public safety. These security personnel lacked total common sense. They are very lucky we didn’t get hit by a car or jabbed by a needle.

Here is a picture of my sister walking past an addict because we were not allowed to walk through the mall back to the elevator.

I went to Central City to do some shopping and grab a bite, and it was a good experience overall. The mall feels open and easy to walk around. Stores are laid out in a way that makes sense, so I could find what I needed without wandering too long.

I browsed a mix of shops and found a few good deals on clothes and accessories. There are both big brand stores and smaller local spots, so there is something for different tastes. When I wanted a break, it was easy to find a place to sit or grab a drink.

The food court has a bunch of different choices, from Asian food to burgers and desserts. I tried a noodle bowl and it tasted fresh and filling. Seating felt clean and there were plenty of tables so I didn’t have to wait for a seat.

Staff in the stores and food places were friendly and helpful when I asked questions. Even when it got a bit busier later in the day, it never felt overwhelming or uncomfortable.

Overall, Central City feels like a reliable place to shop, eat, and spend a few hours without stress. I would go back again when I need errands done or want a casual day out.

Central City is a solid shopping spot in Surrey. It’s got all the mall essentials: T&T Supermarket, Walmart, a variety of clothing stores, Best Buy, a big food court, and plenty of parking.

The architecture is actually pretty impressive—lots of glass, open spaces, and a sleek modern vibe. It feels more “downtown chic” than your average suburban mall.

I really love the architecture of this place, it’s modern, eye-catching and just GRAND feeling. The wooden ceiling panels remind me of YVR airport or the Vancouver convention centre. Oh yeah and the stores are cute and seem like places people actually shop at. Various things for sale and most of them are priced reasonably. There’s a food court here, Dollarama, Walmart and Winners as well as a gym, truly all the essentials for the SFU student body who call this their campus.
