We hired Coopers last week to assist with moving and also packing. They provided the boxes and manpower. Very pleased with the service. I didn’t have to lift a finger, just told them where to place everything in new home. If you don’t want to do all the work of packing, would highly recommend! Overall great experience! The movers Devontae, Dre and Chris were phenomenal!

Such an amazing experience with Coopers Professionals Movers. Extremely professional and fast. The 3 movers that serviced me, Chris, Keon and Deandre were AMAZING. They took apart all 3 beds and put them together with no issues and wrapped my furniture. I was nervous because this was my first time using a moving company but so happy I did! The cost was close to the estimate that was received over the phone. The movers worked so hard to get my items moved quickly , I even bought them lunch. Would highly recommend this company for moving.

*Extremely Disappointed*

I would not recommend Cooper's Moving Company.

On July 10, their crew was unloading two PODS into my home. While moving one of my dressers up the front steps, it slipped off the dolly they were using, bounced down the concrete stairs, and was completely destroyed. The straps come undone and the dresser bounces down the steps before smashing.

Immediately after it happened, *both employees* assured me, "Don't worry, we have insurance for this," and "This is exactly what our insurance is for." Naturally, I believed them. Told me I “just need to make a work order and insurance will cover it.”

The very next day (July 11), I contacted the company to begin the claims process. I promptly submitted the claim form, photos of the damaged dresser, replacement information, and everything they requested.

Then... nothing.

*July 15:* I followed up by email. No response.
*July 17:* I called and spoke with Charles, who told me the claims representative only worked certain days and would call me on Saturday.
*Saturday came and went with no call.
*July 24:* After another week of silence, I called again. Charles told me, "I just spoke to you the other day and said she'd be giving you a call." I had to remind him that "the other day" had actually been *a full week earlier*, and no one had contacted me. He finally gave me Brittany's direct number and told me to follow up on Monday.

On July 27 (more than two weeks after the damage occurred) I finally received a call, only to be told my dresser was *not covered* because of the material it was made from. I was told their contract excludes furniture constructed from that material and that if it HAD qualified, reimbursement would have only been *$0.60 per pound*.

What makes this so frustrating is that *their own employees*, while representing the company, immediately assured me the damage would be covered. I also have my Vivint doorbell footage showing the entire incident- the dresser falling down the stairs, shattering into pieces, and the employees telling me not to worry because insurance would take care of it.

The dresser wasn't destroyed because of the material it was made from. It was destroyed because it *wasn't properly secured to the dolly* and fell down a flight of concrete stairs. I own two identical dressers and one made the trip from Florida to Michigan and into my home without issue. The other only failed because it was dropped due to negligence- not because of its construction (which is showcased in its match making it inside undisturbed).

Adding to my frustration were unexpected "overweight item" charges. Items were charged as as overweight without being weighed on any scale. Ironically, I was able to pick up and carry several of those same “overweight” items into other rooms by myself, while the movers had dollies and professional moving equipment.

Accidents happen. I understand that. What disappointed me was the lack of accountability, the repeated lack of communication, having to chase someone for over two weeks, and ultimately being told that despite what their employees promised, the company would take no responsibility!!!

If you're considering this company, I would strongly encourage you to carefully review their damage coverage and contracts before trusting verbal assurances from their employees.

Keon and Davante were so fast and friendly. They switched our bedrooms around in under an hour and very professional. We had heavy bedroom furniture but they did it like it was nothing. Very nice young men. I was told the $75 deposit would come off the total but it didn't. I was quoted 3 hour but it only took 40mins so next time I would want just an hour quote. If its just a quote, its not the total and feel like it shouldn't have cost $406.00 to switch 2 bedrooms around in 40mins. Charles tried explaining the scam but the money was already charged and they only took cash for payment after I was told that my card was on file and would be charged at the end. The movers were awesome and fast but pricing is not fair.

The manager Charles is an absolutely wonderful person and will bend over backwards to help people! He got us out of a bad situation and was more than happy to help us! We will forever be grateful to Cooper's Moving and Storage thank you again, Charles for being a wonderful person and a Godsend, knowing how to conduct business and retain your customers!
