We had the 4 inch HW product installed last march. In less than a year the gaps between boards we so large I could place a tunnie between them in various locations. Satin Finish came to my home and basically washed their hands of the issue stating the home was too dry. There's no way anyone could maintain the RH levels the company claims. For that matter we were not informed by the company we purchased the product from nor was there any information provided to the consumer about the strict RH rules. Hopefully this helps someone else think twice about purchasing this product.

We have the Satin Finish maple hardwood and it is absolutely awful! It is barely one year old and the finish keeps chipping along the edges. We are very careful about the humidity levels in our house due to our piano so there isn't much expansion/retraction happening. Definite DO NOT RECOMMEND this product!

we selected Satin Finish engineered hardwood flooring for our condo as it is well made. though it was installed in 2005, the floor still looks great and is easy to maintain. we have recommended this product to our friends and family.
