Macondo Books is a beautiful store with a wonderful selection. The employees are knowledgable and can always suggest excellent books if you are looking for something new to read. All the books are in great condition, however this results in high prices for their stock.

I'm a primary school teacher in Toronto and I love stopping in at Macondo Books when I'm in Guelph, visiting my parents for the weekend. Their selection is fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and easy-going; more often than not I start a huge pile of books on the floor, sit cross-legged in a corner and read for a half-hour!
