We are relationship driven and dedicated to providing superlative customer service delivered with warmth, friendliness, and individual pride. In the summer of 2010, the company underwent a restructuring which resulted in the purchase of the majority shares from one of the company's original founding partners, by the company's president. This change in ownership has opened the doors to a new management style and allows for the expansion and development of a fresh business plan. One of the first changes made was the inclusion of a specialized real estate sales division- a peculiar concept to some, given the current market environment, but one deliberately planned and thoughtfully implemented. Ensuing months have brought on additional maintenance personnel, increased administrative staff catering to homeowner acquisition, and detailed plans for the reorganization of the housekeeping, maintenance, and pools & spas divisions. We had a very good experience with Elan. Would use the rental agency again. The refreshments and bbq at check-in are a nice touch after driving. The fact that they will allow you into your house early if it is finished being cleaned is great too! A rep called me a few days into our stay to see how everything was going. I mentioned that the kitchen faucet was loose and a maintenance person was out that afternoon to check it out (parts needed to be ordered, so it wasn't fixed during our stay). If there is any complaint, it's having to pick up and drop off physical keys to the property....keyless entry would be nice!

Very easy experience overall. The staff at Elan was always very pleasant and helpful. They answered any questions I had about the house prior to arrival and called after we arrived to make sure everything was all good with the house. This is our second time renting through Elan and would definitely do it again!

We loved our house and the staff at Elan was very helpful. The only problem we had was a dvd player not working. We called and it was fixed within hours! We have already booked the same house for next year!

It was a beautiful home with every amenity one could wish for. It was clean and afforded ample space for the ten of us. The kitchen was well equipped, and the many porches offered outside eating, relaxation, and solitude if needed! Beach chairs, beach toys, games, four televisions, wifi, Tiki Bar, outside shower, and more! One disappointment for our grandsons was the lack of a basketball hoop - and the beach was not as close as the pics on the internet intimated. It was a great week for all. We love Duck!

This was our second year at an Elan Vacations home. They allow early key pickup with phone contact when the property is ready. They also provide a great starter kit of home essentials. We had an small issue with a non-draining shower and a service tech was there within 2 hours - fixed! Although we are looking at possibly changing homes for next year, we are looking to stay with Elan Vacations!

We were all pleased with our first stay at Carpe Manana. We were most pleased with all the bathrooms, the three floors to separate generations and the large kitchen area to accommodate a variety of eating times. Our extended family spent the mornings at the ocean, afternoons at the pool and evenings in the hot tub. The proximity to the ocean gave us the flexibility for everyone to do their own thing and return to a lovely setting inside this space. The one hot tub issue was corrected immediately. We will be back again.

Ease of checking in/out. Love the Buck Island experience!! If folks are heading to Corolla for a stay remember the two lane highway to run down to Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and points South...will take a while, it isn't a quick trip.

Elan was wonderful from beginning to end! Very responsive, even going out to the house to measure certain things to be sure I could accommodate some things for my aging in-laws. They made the whole process so easy, and followed up during our stay to be sure all was satisfactory. I would definitely rent from them again, and highly recommend them for vacation rentals!

Our first experience in the Outerbanks will not be our last. Our house, Aquapalooza was a great choice! It had everything a varied group of 21 could have wanted or needed. Our experience with Elan Vacations was tops! It appeared seamless to deliver whatever needed! We will work with them again.

Would absolutely call upon Elan again. They were friendly and informative, despite my many calls for information ahead of our trip. Each person who answered the phone was very helpful. Our reservation and week at the rental house was wonderful! The only thing I would suggest is giving the renter a heads up if a maintenance person is coming over for some reason. During our stay I did have to contact Elan for a leakage problem with the AC and it was handled promptly. However, two other visits occurred that we were not expecting and it was a little unsettling. All in all we enjoyed our time as a family! Thank you for your help after checkout as well with retrieving clothes that were forgotten in a drawer. That was above and beyond.

Elan is a top-notch vacation rental company. The office location is very convenient as it is on Route 158 right before the bridge. The complimentary lunch they provide is delicious. Upon entering our beach house, we found it very clean. When we had a maintenance issue, they responded quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

We enjoyed our family vacation again for the 5th summer in a row at the Sunny Delight. The cottage was very clean and smelled fresh upon our arrival. Such an excellent location with only a hop, skip and jump to the beach. Many of the appliances had been updated, new windows, siding, wood on deck and stairs. Everything was fresh, fresh, fresh! The weather was rainy and red flags were out all week but a week at the beach is still a week at the beach and happy memories were made by all!

What a great week in this gorgeous house. The kitchen exceeded our expectations. Having two ice makers, theater room, library, bikes, crab pots and dock made our stay extra special. We rented paddle boards and golf cart for the week. Paddle boarding off the dock was easy. We didn't use the golf cart as much as we anticipated but it was great hauling items to the beach. The beach did not have parking so you had to shuttle back and forth with the golf cart. This is a great house for family gatherings. Hope to return again!!

We had an absolute blast at this house, Star of the Sea. The outside pool area with bar is so nice and makes you really feel like you are on an island. The kitchen is well equipped and very nice. The only negative we had was considering it sleeps 17 there are only 7 seats in the living room. They need to put some more seating there, maybe another sofa.

We were a group of 5 families recently stayed at Corolla Sun and cannot say anything bad about the property. The house was equipped to accommodate all 18 people. The kids loved coming back to the pool from spending a day at the beach. The walk to the beach was pleasant and quick. Loved the house and the families are asking when are we going back.

Our house, Carolina Treasure, was a true treasure. It accommodated us, our four children, and their families very nicely. In all of our years going to the OBX, this was the best-equipped kitchen we've ever had. And, the easy beach access was truly appreciated, especially with two babies. It was no problem to go up and back from the house to the beach. Finally, Elan was fantastic. We had one issue during the week. I called the office, and we had someone at the house within the hour to take care of the problem. Loved, loved, loved the house! Highly recommend Elan!
