I went online to locate a company that could replace our old retaining wall that had recently collapsed. I found and then contacted Hofstetter Landscaping. My call was returned immediately and a time was set for Rick to come look at the job and quote a price. The price that was quoted was fair, and the interesting thing was that he did not require nor asked for a 50% deposit like other contractors that I have utilized in the past did. A tentative date was set for the retaining wall to be replaced.

The crew arrived early, worked hard, and completed the work in record time, it took only a day. They left the outside of our house as it had been before they arrived, clean and free of dirt and debris with one exception a new amazingly beautiful retaining wall.

Not long after, our neighbours started to walk by and to comment of the new wall and how amazing that it looked.

All in all we were very pleased with Hofstetter Landscaping and have already hired them to replace our front stairs next spring, and the year after to complete the stonework in our backyard.

I would definitely recommend Hofsetteter Landscaping to all whom are considering stonework, soft and hard landscaping to be completed.

I first used Hofstetter Landscaping in 1997 to install interlocking stone on my patio and around the pool. They also completely regraded the back yard, installed 60' by 4' planters at graduating depths, and sodded a large lawn. The work was completed on time and completely to my satisfaction.
At a later date they refurbished and re seeded my front lawn, with excellent results.
Two years ago, Hofstetter emptied the pond, removed the fish, washed the stones and liner, re-aligned the rocks around the perimeter, filled the pond and returned the fish.
Once again, a perfect job!

Over the years I have called on Hofstetter Landscaping for many other more minor jobs. Without exception the work has been as promised and always reasonably priced.

This is a company you can rely on for any landscaping needs.

Hofstetter Landscaping completed a patio and steps in front of our home and a pathway along the side of our home. Rick, the owner, helped design the shape of the patio and also helped us pick out the bricks which would best match our home. We were delighted with the results and have many neighbours comment on how beautiful the patio is. They are also able to do plantings of trees, bushes and flowers and will help you design the general layout of the property. They are fully insured and I am delighted to have them as members of the Registry of Professional Contractors of Ontario.
