She is also specially certified in orthopedic surgery.<br /> <br /> After earning a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University in 2007, Klein attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, earning a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2010. There she received specialty training in asthma and allergy treatment, general surgery, and vascular surgery. <br /> <br /> She then worked in Houston at the University of Texas Health Science Center and Baylor College of Medicine emergency departments as an instructor, and she obtained a certificate of added qualifications in orthopedic surgery.
