I am in the process of purchasing a home at Highland Ridge. I have nothing but positive feedback - Diana has been so wonderful to work with, very customer-focused and incredible responsive. I requested some modifications to the home (e.g. accessibility, additional windows, enlarging one room) and the Freure Homes team took to heart what I was asking for and provided multiple options + pricing so I could make an informed decisions. The initial sales process was smooth, efficient and I was kept informed along the way. Looking forward to the rest of the process!!

We watched and watched this subdivision start a few years ago now and something just kept us coming back 11 years later we built our forever home just over a year ago now . We just love it

We had a lovely experience with Freure from the very start! Our home in Huron Woods is truly a dream come true and we couldn’t have been happier with the Results. Annie at the Design Centre was a great help, and everyone we interacted with was extremely helpful. The only problem was the delay, but we heard that’s expected from Home Builders these days.

After over 2 years of complaints I finally made them investigate further into why our house was so cold!!!! Our daughters bedroom was not insulated at all in one wall along with the window and orher windows in the house had no insulation, cracked foundation 2 spots doors that don't work carpet had to be replaced staff that lie to you and just blame others dj and darrel are shady, make excuses instead of trying to help. And when we did have contractors come back in to fix stuff they were rude and unprofessional. The only good experience was dealing with les and his son they helped us finally solve our issues
Would never buy from this builder again!!!!!

I don't know how well Freure homes builded other homes, but my home has tons of quality issues, I can write them on over two pages. I won't make comments if they are only small problems. I definitely won't buy another home from this builder or recommend this builder to anybody.

I built my home with Freure Homes in Huron Woods and I great experience. I love my lot on the court and I love my home. Thanks to Fahad the Huron Woods sales rep, my house is built exactly the way I wanted. I am surprised to see some negative reviews about the builder and Fahad because I would for sure buy with this builder again. Everything was done as per the plans and what I had selected. The quality was amazing, service from the time of purchase to when I got my home was really good.Only thing they need to work on is meeting their closing dates, besides that I have nothing but good things to say about this builder.

If I could rate negative stars I would-they are not even worth one star. We purchased the Model home in Komoka Glen, Komoka ontario. We had to bridge with the bank as they made us wait two extra months to move in. IT WAS THE MODEL!!!!! Many repairs needed to be done as we soon found out that things were done ONLY TO CODE and barely at that. We have still been waiting 2yrs to repair damage from the inside of our master bedroom as we had a major water leak in which they fixed from the outside but never came back to finish the inside. Our subdivision is barely half completed and we have been told they cannot afford to pay any workers to build or maintain our area and so are now only selling unmaintained lots. This company lures you in with beautiful homes and empty promises then waits until your home is no longer covered under warranty as they cannot afford to fix things. VERY SHADY COMPANY so BE AWARE!!! Our entire community has lodged complaints with every single home that has been built here so that says a lot about this company. I have attached photos to show our abandoned and unkempt lots-and we have been here 5yrs. Even after just over 6yrs Freure cannot complete the job. Unbelievable really.

My home has been pushed back too many times to even count. They are not dependable and have lied to us multiple times. I regret my decision to go with them. Customer service is very poor, takes days for them to return calls or emails, and get run around excuses.
If you are expecting them to keep you updated on the progress, don't bother.

Bought a beautiful home in komoka ontario, no real problems however very apprehensie about this purchase as they have stopped building for 1.5yrs now no model homes and numerous empty lots, yet all other subdivisions in komoka are booming, this builder needs to own up or sell out for all of us to profit from our large investment. Very dissapointed and left in the dark

But my house has been pushed out twice now for a total of six months. If you are expecting them to keep you updated on the progress, don't bother.
When I signed the paperwork to purchase a year ago, the real estate agent assured me that Freure has a good reputation for having builds close on time. I am now 100% sure that was just a sales pitch.
I am a very patient person (clearly since I've now been waiting a year for a home), but the lack of customer service and response from the builder is pretty sad. If hindsight was 20/20 I would've gone with someone else.
Perhaps I can post something more positive when I actually get possession but until then I have nothing good to say.

Same is happening to my home as well. I can not even describe how angry and fed up I am with this builder and everyone who works for them. My house has been pushed back many times and we bought it over a year ago.....still no home.

It is very disappointing. This is not my first new build so I do have another company to compare it to. My last company pushed it out once and only by a month. I am a forgiving person and if the customer service was better and they at least acted like they cared, I probably wouldn't be as pissed as I am. No apology for the chaos their push outs have caused, nothing. It takes weeks for my emails to get answered and I've all but given up. My lawyer says they have me by the balls for another year before I can try to weasel out of the contract. This is a great example of a corporation that takes your money and doesn't give a crap about customer service. My last builder apologized and threw in a free upgrade to compensate for putting us out. Hopefully the extended six months on my house means it'll be decent workmanship. Glad to know there are other frustrated people too.

We asked for some free upgrades and were told that they will not do any free upgrades for us. I bet everyone in my neighborhood is frustrated and annoyed. Maybe we are all in the same spot.

Do not buy from this builder! Our house has been delayed 3 times. Once you signed the contract, you will never get your money back. No customer service at all. They are greedy and liars. They did not honour their words regarding jobs or materials. This family business is a total scam from the owner to the sales person. Can't believe they still survive this business.

the inspectors were impressed with the structure of the home said she had good bones !
Meet the original owner by accident one day who was very happy with the build...divorce made him sell.

I built my home with Freure Homes in Huron Woods and I great experience. I love my lot on the court and I love my home. I am surprised to see some negative reviews about the builder and Fahad because I would for sure buy with this builder again. Everything was done as per the plans and what I had selected.
