He won the school's top table clinician award in 1975 and represented MCG at the American Dental Association's National Convention. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree that same year. <p> Dr. Buckler opened a private dental practice in the Tucker area in December of 1975 and took over Dr. T Mayo Atkins' dental practice in 1983 in Decatur, GA. He combined both offices in 1991 and now operates a comprehensive dental practice of his own. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Dekalb Dental Study Club.
