Reconstruction helps to restore form, function, and appearance, while enhancing a patient’s self-confidence and self-image after cancer surgery. In my practice I utilize state-of-the-art techniques to perform reconstruction, including the use of perforator flaps such as the Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator (DIEP).
