Rob at the pool was very helpful with myself and my kids. He made my experience fun once he noticed I was nervous to go down the slides. Such a pleasure.
Hope at the ice cream station was friendly and great with her service. She was a joy and has a skill in providing exceptional customer service for sure .

The rooms are gross. I’m pretty picky, but even the smaller issues were pretty bad. First of all they don’t have any luggage carts, but they have 10+ buildings with 4ish floors a piece, that’s unreasonable in Florida where the average temperature sits at 80° plus humidity most of the year. It’s obvious that these rooms were recently refurbished, but the way they laid the LVP (at least in the rooms) we stayed in makes me wonder why they even bothered doing the floors at all. There were multiple large gaps in both of the rooms we stayed and anytime my kids walked around barefoot for more than 10 minutes their feet were black with dirt— which means the floors are not being consistently cleaned thoroughly. There were ants in our room. The air conditioning worked but the room was dank, so the sheets and towels often felt wet. Parking is extra, which is always annoying and technically so is the waterpark. The other patrons were also not great. At one point there was a group of rough looking young people taking up the whole stairwell smoking pot, lovely. The from about 4-8 pm there was a boy (about 12) outside playing basketball who kept death screaming over and over again. As a mom I have lots of kids, I get it kids are loud, but 4 hours of your kid screaming is too much. Glad we only stayed for 2 nights because that was plenty.

I really want to give it 5 stars but I can’t right now. We just checked out this morning after a 2 night stay. We live in Florida about an hour away from here and just took a little staycation with our 2 year old daughter. This is our second time here, our first time was great but interesting. First time we stay I go to sit on one of the beds and the whole leg breaks and cuts my leg open pretty good, let the front desk know and they just changed our room and gave us a “late” checkout at 12 for what happened. Come to find out on the IHG app where I book you can request a late checkout for free anyway. This time we booked thinking the new little water park area was open but it wasn’t, I guess they had to redo the floor of it since it wasn’t sticking which I totally understand they want it to be safe. For that they offered my daughter free ice cream, which okay thank you that’s nice she loves ice cream but I think you should advertise it where you know people will see it so they don’t go there in hopes to use it. Second thing that happened, got a late check out today at 12 so we could bring our daughter swimming one more time in the morning before we leave, we packed everything besides a change of clothes for us in our vehicle so when we got back to the room after swimming we could just change, check out, and head home. We get up to our room and notice her playpen which they provided outside the door already and the housekeeping cart outside the room, were like uhhhhh we haven’t even left yet we still have some stuff in there. The housekeeper tells us our stuff was taken to lost and found, that stuff was, my wallet, our dry clothes, my daughters sippy, her clothes, her diaper, and some of our drinks. I get it mistakes happen but I think there should be better communication between the housekeepers and whosever job it is that controls the checkouts and all that. Other than those little hiccups I love staying here, rooms are so nice, love how all the water rides are included, love the arcade and that there’s places to eat here so you don’t really need to travel. Overall I think it’s a great place to stay, there’s just some kinks that need to be worked out.

First off, we completely understand that check-in isn’t until 4:00 PM. However, we pre- checked in around 11:30 AM and were given access to the resort amenities while we waited, which we appreciated.
We started by going to the pool, but there were no towels available. Shortly after, the pool closed due to the weather, so we decided to take the kids to the arcade instead. Unfortunately, several of the arcade games were taking our credits without allowing us to actually play. We ended up losing about 60 credits because of this.
At 4:00 PM, we went to check if our rooms were ready and were told they were not and that it would be another hour. We had booked three rooms and requested that they be located next to one another. By 5:30 PM, our rooms still weren’t ready, and we were asked if we would mind if the rooms weren’t next to each other. At that point, we were tired of waiting and told them it didn’t matter anymore—we just wanted to get into our rooms.
One of our rooms ended up being on the complete opposite side of the resort from the other two. That room had a kitchen, but the stovetop did not work. The other two rooms weren’t available until after 6:00 PM.
The kids had wanted to watch the 6:00 PM movie at the resort’s movie theater, but they weren’t able to because we were still dealing with trying to get into our rooms. One of the water parks also closed at 6:00 PM, so by the time we finally got settled, we had already missed out on several of the amenities we were supposed to be able to enjoy.
There were also maintenance issues with the rooms. The floorboards were coming up in all three rooms, and the TV in the bunk room was not working properly.
On top of the cost of the three rooms, we were required to pay a resort fee as well as a daily parking fee, which added another $94 to our stay per room. Considering the additional fees, the delayed check-in, the maintenance issues, and the amenities we either couldn’t use or had problems with, the experience was extremely disappointing.
Then, on the morning of checkout, we started packing around 9:00 AM and took one load of our belongings to the car. Before we even made it downstairs, housekeeping was already inside our room cleaning it. We had not checked out, it wasn’t even checkout time yet, and we still had belongings in the room.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. We understand that things like weather are completely outside of the resort’s control, and we also understand that check-in officially begins at 4:00 PM. However, having to wait until after 6:00 PM for two of our three rooms, having our group separated across the resort, dealing with multiple maintenance and amenity issues, and then having housekeeping enter our room before we had even checked out made the stay far from what we expected, especially considering what we paid. Also was told at check-in the manager would give us a call about our delayed check-in to give a credit we received no call from management. At check-out the guest services was hassling is on a credit we asked to speak with a manager he said I’ll see if she’s available. We did get a credit but the situation was frustrating customer service seemed as if they really did not care about our disappointing experience. After management came we did get a credit but will not be back. This stay was for my daughter’s birthday and ended up being a very frustrating and hectic experience.

I’m giving this resort 2 stars, and that’s only because the room itself was clean. We booked this stay for 5 guests (2 adults and 3 children), but somehow the reservation only reflected 2 adults. Because of that, we were only provided enough towels for 3 people. We requested additional towels the following day, yet it still seemed like the resort only recognized 3 guests.
The biggest reason we chose this resort was for the water park, only to find out it was closed the entire weekend. This was never disclosed before booking. Had we known one of the resort’s main attractions would be unavailable, we would have booked somewhere else. That lack of transparency was extremely disappointing.
To make matters worse, we were told at check-in that the food locations would be open until 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., but by 9:30 p.m. everything was already closed or in the process of closing. We relied on the information we were given and ended up with very limited dining options.
Parking was another major issue. We paid nearly $100 for parking for just 3 nights, yet finding a parking spot was a nightmare. If you left the resort in the evening, good luck finding a space when you returned. Charging guests that much for parking without ensuring adequate availability is unacceptable.
Overall, this stay did not live up to what was advertised or what we paid for. Between the closed water park, the incorrect guest count, the lack of towels, misleading information about dining hours, and the overpriced, inadequate parking, this was a very disappointing experience.
