Im not a customer with a account there and I was cashing a check. I was charged money which is a standard, which is annoying.
However, their computer system went down during the transaction after withdrawing, so I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to receive my money. When I stated that my time was worth more than their cashing fee, and they should wave the fee. I was ignored... if you are so desperate to make money that your electronic accounting system crashe you should at least have the courtesy to wave the fees when an individual has to wait for the system to reboot.

We wanted to start from saying thanks for having awesomeness employees working inside today. I was so scared and horrified day because I had a issue then they were able to help me through it. Very understanding and very patience explaining everything I needed to know. My family and I have been banking with Chase for couple years. We feel safe keeping our money at Chase bank. Thanks again.

On the 29th of January a suspicious person tried to gain access to my account at Chase by phone. The same thing occurred twice on February 7th. At that point 12 days had gone by, and I did not receive a notification of this action from Chase. On the 7th of February, I received a text and notification from Chase with a pin code for access to my account. Since I did not perform this action, I called Chase. I had my online account shut down and removed my email address. As is the norm, I was unable to reach the branch by phone, so I started emailing people. I finally receive a call from my Private Client Advisor, I explain the situation and I ask him to put me in touch with the branch manager "Issac". I spoke with Issac, I don't believe he looked at my account because he gave me some bad information explaining that my computer was compromised. He advised me to get my computer scanned by a professional. I explained that my account stated the attempt was made by phone but he ignored that information. He then stated he was going to file a complaint and I should have results within a week. I took my computer to a specialist, had it scanned for malware and it was clean, no malware. That cost me half a day and about 100 dollars. I got a call from the alleged escalation division of the executive branch, and they gave contradictory information from everyone else I spoke to at the branch and on the phone. They were unable to provide me with information that would assure me they were from Chase. I emailed my private client banker and he let me know that Issac had it for action and would let me know if that call came from the executive branch. I have not received any information. I then drive to the branch to reactivate my online account and update my email address. While there, I ask about Issac, he is on vacation. After a week, I contacted my private client banker again by email and he reminded Issac to follow up with me. I still have not heard from him. Today is Feb 20th, 2025. FIND ANOTHER BRANCH

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! However, if you do, please do not listen to any estate advise they might have without speaking to an attorney first. I have been dealing with them since August to get accounts closed and I still have one to go. They issued the check, mailed it, it was delivered, but when digging deeper they did not follow the instructions or the Estate paperwork and sent it to the wrong address and still haven't gotten the situation corrected.
I called and called to follow up on the CD check and after a one hour plus phone call discovered it had been sent to the wrong address. Now I'm fighting to have the check re-issued and just spoke to the escalation department who said that someone will call me in a day or two. I'm not holding my breath!
None of this was even necessary. The bank representative told my grandmother not to have any other signer on her account which would have made all of this unnecessary. Had someone been listed on her account, these funds would have been distributed months ago without the need for probate to obtain letters testamentary and having to go through probate at a cost of 2k +/-.
Be warned and be wary!

Been w Chase since before I left Cols OH. Started with them bc I came across a banker who told his boss to "think outside the box." In well over a decade I've received nothing less than exceptional service, personalized communications, advice, & the absolute best experience each time I interact with Chase personnel. I have trust in my financial advisor, she's demonstrated her personal commitment to the advancement & health of my investments, as well as their security. Don't understand the negatives, truly not my experience over a lengthy period of time with Chase
