Easy check in. Hotel was only 15 mins away from our event. We were late arriving from our friend’s 50th party but Dale (I hope that’s his name…) did a great job checking us in, sharing the hotel amenities, and quickly getting us situated so we could get some rest. He was patient, very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will certainly stay at this location again.

I stayed here for a nearly two-week work trip, and the team made it feel like a home away from home. Being away for that long can be exhausting, but the staff took such wonderful care of us the entire time.

I want to give a special shoutout to Karla and Austin. Despite how busy they were and how many guests they interact with every day, they took the time to learn and remember my name. It’s rare to find people who are not only exceptional at what they do, but who truly care about making you feel seen and welcome. Thank you for such an incredible stay!

I stayed here the past weekend. At my arrival the gentleman was nice. Only complaint is I requested a higher room floor and there wasn't no availability, then my room was right ny the parking lot with noise. Not a problem but a concern.that I will now ask not to ne near a parking lot on my other stays..lol..I decided to stay another day and I believe Dave helped me. Superb customer service. The other guy had superb customer service too... The rooms were clean, plenty of towels, comfy bed. The housekeepers whenever I was walking around were nice and respectful. I would stay again when visiting!!

Spent about 11 days here for business and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The staff went above and beyond throughout my stay -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The manager even found a way to get the pool open for us to use, before we left! That level of service makes a huge difference when you're away from home for nearly two weeks.
The room was very spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had outstanding water pressure (which deserves extra points after long workdays ).
Breakfast was delicious every single morning with a limited variety but excellent quality -- definitely something I looked forward to daily.
Comfortable, clean, welcoming, and consistently well run. I would absolutely recommend Marriott Addison to anyone traveling for business or leisure, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE , LIES ,

My name is Rolisa Hammett, and I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding my recent stay at Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Addison/Midway.

I am a longtime Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member and have remained loyal to the Marriott brand for many years. In addition to my personal travel, I work for UPS Corporate, a company that frequently utilizes Marriott properties for business travel. Because of my trust in the Marriott brand and the benefits associated with my loyalty status, I booked this stay directly through Marriott’s website for a weekend getaway with my family.

Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing family trip became a frustrating and disappointing experience from the moment I arrived.

Upon check-in, I encountered a long and disorganized line. While waiting, a leaking ceiling sprinkler dripped water directly onto my shoulder. Although this may seem minor, it immediately set the tone for what would become a series of service failures throughout my stay.

When I finally reached the front desk, I was informed that breakfast was not included in my reservation. I explained that I had booked directly through Marriott and expected to receive the benefits and offers associated with my reservation and loyalty status. Rather than assisting me, I was instructed to call Marriott Customer Service myself.

During check-in, the front desk associate, Sophia, informed me that I was being upgraded to a suite. I never requested an upgrade, but I appreciated the gesture and thanked her. However, when I arrived at my room, I discovered it was simply the standard room I had originally booked—a basic room with two beds and one bathroom. There was no suite upgrade.

Following Sophia’s instructions, I contacted Marriott Customer Service regarding breakfast. I was informed that breakfast was not included and that they could not add it. I was further advised that any breakfast purchase would need to be handled at the front desk. At this point, I found myself being sent back and forth between Customer Service and the hotel staff without receiving a clear resolution.

Before leaving the property for the day, I informed Sophia that my room had not been upgraded as promised. She acknowledged the mistake and assured me that a suite was being cleaned and would be ready by the time I returned that evening.

When I returned around 10:00 PM after a long day of traveling and family activities, my sister went to the front desk on my behalf to obtain the keys to the upgraded room while I settled the children. She was then informed that no upgraded rooms were available. Sophia admitted that she had made a mistake and stated that she had been working since 3:00 AM, had only been employed at the hotel for approximately three weeks, and that many guests had not received upgrades.

While I understand that new employees require training and that long shifts can be challenging, those circumstances should never become the guest’s burden. What was most concerning was how the situation was handled afterward.

When my sister requested to speak with a manager, she was told that the manager, Dale, would not be available until 3:00 PM the following day. When she requested Marriott Corporate’s contact information, she was initially told Sophia did not have it. Sophia then reportedly responded, “Do you want me to Google it?” The conversation ended with my sister feeling dismissed and as though she was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a valued guest seeking assistance.
