Conveniently located in downtown Austin, Deseo Salon provides its clientele with a team of stylists boasting talent from Austin to New York's trendiest salons. Meet the Business Owner Wendy W. Business Owner As proprietor of Deseo, Wendy Walicek has a philosophy - "Hair is our best accessory, so we better love it every time we look in the mirror!" Her specialty is creating a unique look that makes her clients feel confident and beautiful - a runway look for everyday. In addition to perfecting a customized look, she can help the weary to fix any undesirable issue. Listening and communicating with her clients is paramount in her practice. "My belief on color is to listen to the client's desires and concerns and create a way to turn that medium into a form that makes the client feel beautiful." he was the Director of Education for a high end salon in Austin, Texas, for eight years. In those eight years she received certifications from Aveda as a Certified Haircolor Specialist, attended Vidal Sassoon London Academy for Advanced Haircolor, presented at Serious Business, a Neill Corporation business conference and completed the certification for the American Board of Certified Haircolorists.
