This store brand is owned by Kroger. You'll find the exact same crap in this store too. Overpriced the same too. It's better to find a non-IGA store and spend your money locally, where your community benefits, and to not pour our grocery money into corporate bank accounts, leaving the local economy completely.

Have been shopping here since I moved into the area 10 years ago. A lot of the same nice people are still working there since then. Many good daily and weekly deals.

The layout of the parking lot is awful. I almost had a head on collision with a huge pickup truck barreling down the lane, going the wrong way! Then the last time I was there, after check out, as I was pushing my cart from the cash register to leave my cashier walks in front of me impeding being able to move forward to leave the store so that HE could leave the store. Not an excuse me or apology just walked away. Other than that I've enjoyed the variety, prices, and the cleanliness of the store.

Hello. I can no longer be silent. This Jay C, in Sellersburg, IN blatantly mocks and harasses those with unseen disabilities. I am a non hearing person, 90 percent deaf bilaterally. EVERY time, EVERY single time I go in this store and I do not know why I choose to do so anymore, I guess the close proximity to my home. I am mocked, ridiculed...by several cashiers one with a long grey braid that is at the normal checkout and the other at the self check out that certainly has a physical disability. The one with the long grey braid will fake sign at me, laugh, point at me, slap things and slow talk...all to humiliate me. The one at the self check out, will deliberately come over and count every single item in my bags to prove I am not to herself that I am not shop lifting. I have ignored it all. NO MORE. Yesterday more at approximately 9:30 am I checked out of the self check lane with a few grocreies. There were a few troubles with the lane but the cashier cleared them and I left, went to my car, piddled around getting stuff organized and look up and there is this larger, brown haired woman running at my car. Obviously yelling and pointing her finger at me. So I put my car in park, roll down my window and she is still yelling at me. I am all, I cannot understand you, I am basically deaf and reach over to get in my purse to get my phone to turn on my translator to see what she is saying. She said I was shoplifting! I was all, no I am NOT! She then asked for my receipt and I had forgotten it, so she keeps screaming, causing a scene and pointing at me. It is at this time ANOTHER cashier comes up and hands her my receipt and she just goes OH...here. You did pay. I was all what? What in the world is going on? Not only this instance, several times and I have witnesses that have seen them do this to me, mocking me for being deaf. All kinds of things. I was so humiliated yesterday that once again I drove home crying and shaking. She scared me. I had no idea what was causing her upset. It was NOTHING. I had paid, and was making my way home. What shoplifter takes their time to organize their purse, put things together in the car and casually try to drive away? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN HUMILIATED IN THAT STORE, ITS MULTIPLE, MULTIPLE TIMES AND I HAVE BEYONED HAD IT. I am threw being nice. I intend to contact attorneys that I have in my family, that will not cost me a cent. and do everything I can to make them face the music of being cruel to people with disabilities, seen or unseen. I cannot be the ONLY one in a town of ten thousand that they treat like this. Again its the Jay Cs, owned by Kroger in Sellersburg IN 47172. I can't be the only person they treat this way and its despicable they get away with it. I am have called all my friends and family and we are all boycotting Kroger stores because they have seen how I have been treated and we are all fed up with it. I can't be the only one, talk out people.
Google keeps taking down my post or someone does but every word of this is TRUE!

Employees are usually pretty friendly, and even though the store didn't have what I came for... My kids were thrilled with the Valentine's bakery selections available and said they're the best bakery cookies they've ever had! High compliments from some cookie addicts for sure! 😂
