HOME-OWNER BEWARE!!! Storm Kat Roofing approached me about a week after a very bad storm had came through my community. They promised to have my roof fixed in record time and to be top quality for a good price. All I can say for them is that they were fast, they were done over a weekend while I took my family to my in-laws. My roof was fixed in October, within 4 months a typical thunderstorm passed through and the next day I find that I have 2 small water marks inside my house on the ceiling. After climbing on my roof I found that more shingles were actually damaged than there was the first time!! I called the "Always Open, 24 Hour" company and am told that they would have to inspect my damage before they would agree to fix it and that they were currently booked in another state and would not be available for at least another week. Rain was predicted for the rest of the week so I called another contractor. After installing tarps over one whole valley and completely on the side of the roof over my bedroom he told me that the shingles were not installed right somehow and that I should make Storm Kat fix it. 2 weeks later Storm Kat finally comes out and tells me that I would have to make ANOTHER insurance claim, or pay out of pocket for repair because there was no way it was their fault!!!!!! Somehow the shingles have a 30 or 35 year warranty but within 3-4 months it had to be Owens-Corning's fault or that the storm must have been so severe that it made their work leak. I was so angry that I ended up hiring the contractor who put tarps on the roof to use caulk and tar and seal EVERY shingle in both leaking areas. Storm Kat Roofing finsihed my roof so FAST that they DID NOT DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY and then took forever to show up just to pass the buck. They have pictures of my roof on their Facebook and will not remove them, and every time I comment telling about my experience they DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY. They are a crew of STORM CHASERS after INSURANCE $$$
