In 1959, a company by the name of Mercedes-Benz was trying to build a dealer network in the US and offered Mark to be one of the first Mercedes-Benz dealers in the Chicagoland area. Over the years, Mark became the largest Mercedes-Benz dealer in the Midwest outselling nearly every other MB dealer in the US. In 2002, Mark was told by the MBUSA that it was time to move his dealership to a new location. In 2005, MBUSA granted Mark the right to relocate to Boerne, Texas and on May 24th, 2005, Mercedes-Benz of Boerne opened it's doors and was operated by Ron Heller and Bill Bird until 2014.
