I had a tire pop while travelling and driving on the highway in Calgary and took my car here to be fixed so I could head on a 3 hour drive home later that day. The staff were so helpful and kind and while they did not have my tires in stock they were honest with me and took a look at my tire to see if I could be fixed without replacing. Knowing I would have to replace it and they wouldn’t be able to get the tires over the weekend they suggested I go elsewhere so that I could get it fixed and travel home.
The staff were honest, kind and helpful in making sure that I could get home in a timely manner instead of trying to sell me on waiting two days.
I highly recommend the good people at this Kal tire!

I trusted Kal Tire Deer Ridge with my Mercedes AMG wheels and tires during seasonal storage, and what I got back was completely unacceptable. One of the tires had visible sidewall damage/cuts after storage, multiple tires were returned low on pressure, and I ended up having to spend extra money buying a replacement tire and paying another shop to install it because I no longer trusted this location to handle my vehicle properly.

This was not minor cosmetic wear — this was damage serious enough to make the tire unsafe. On top of that, the condition of the wheels and tires when returned clearly showed poor handling and lack of care. For a company that advertises professional tire storage and service, this level of negligence is shocking.

What made the experience even worse was the attitude of one staff member, Wayne. Instead of professionalism, accountability, or even basic courtesy, I was met with rude, dismissive, and rough treatment. There was absolutely no empathy or attempt to resolve the situation respectfully. As a paying customer, I found the interaction deeply disappointing and frankly unacceptable.

I chose Kal Tire specifically to avoid exactly this kind of problem. Instead, I ended up with:
• A damaged tire
• Additional out-of-pocket expenses
• Time wasted going to another business for repairs
• Stress and safety concerns
• Extremely poor customer service

I would strongly caution anyone considering tire storage or wheel service at the Deer Ridge branch to think twice, especially if you own premium wheels or performance tires. Based on my experience, I would not trust this location with my vehicle again.

This Kal-tire has the most amazing mechanics. They review what they could see needed to get done then call to inform me what needed to be done and price it out for me. They kept me updated and everyone I interacted with was pleasant and professional! They have great prices too!

Love working with the team at Kal Tire in Deer Run! Trustworthy, honest, and they won't get you to buy stuff you don't need. They are also my mechanic of choice and caught stuff that my other mechanic missed in a previous repair job. Happy Customer for sure!

My experiences with the Deer Ridge Kal Tire have been exceptional. On both of my visits, I was greeted by Taylor or Shay, and they created a warm, welcoming atmosphere at their counter. Not only did they perform their duties professionally and capably, but they were also fun and witty, and genuinely cared about me and my experience with their business. Further, a service technician, Nick, was just as friendly, offered some helpful advice, and the overall experience was great.

Hats off to the crew in the back working expeditiously and with a detailed eye, to get everyone from winter back to summer.

We're all very quick to get online and write negative reviews, but sometimes we miss out on the truly important people, the ones who make our often tedious day a little bit better. I always tip my hat to individuals who can consistently maintain this level of friendly composure. That is dedication and hard work. I hope they stick around.

I read a book at Kal Tire about the family and owners of Kal Tire and how they strongly believed in recognizing employee commitment through reward and participation in the company's profits. I understand this may still be the case, as these jobs are demanding and require handling the stressors common in the corporate environment.

Keep it up!
