I recently moved to Ottawa from Winnipeg and still can't believe how bad the self carwashes are in Ottawa.
Just to compare, in Winnipeg all self washes are enclosed and heated. $1 buys you one cycle and three cycles give you more than enough time to completely wash an suv.

This car on Youville does not have any doors, its just an open bay and is useless in winter as you vehicle will become a brick of ice. The price is outrageous, $3 to start, $1 to keep going.....
