Used the bank for the first time today. The customer service was outstanding. I will increase the amount of banking indo there if the service stays like it was today. Very helpful with my auto payment. Then helped get my app in order. After that informed me of all options for investment they offered. It was a good experience.

PNC Bank in Fort Payne is the best bank I’ve ever banked that the service is outstanding. They always greet you with a smile and I could not ask for better service. I highly recommend PNC Bank for any business you may have.

I’ve stuck with PNC for years, but I’ve officially had enough. Over the weekend, I tried to use one of their own ATMs — and surprise, it wasn’t working (again). I called customer service and was told I could request a refund for fees after the transaction posted.

I followed the rules.
Reached back yesterday while it was pending — was told to wait.
Called again today, and now they tell me:
❌ They can’t refund the other bank’s ATM fee
❌ They might not even refund their own fee — for THEIR ATM being down

This kind of inconsistency is unacceptable. I don’t run my business this way, and I expect the same reliability and integrity from a bank. If your machines aren’t working, your customers shouldn’t be penalized for it.

I’ve always tried to be loyal, but at this point I’m looking to switch. If you’re considering PNC — know that customer service is hit-or-miss, and you're likely to get the runaround when something goes wrong.

I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I’ve dealt with several banks but PNC has to be the worst “bank” I’ve ever dealt with and I didn’t sign up with them they took over for Compass and I as forced in to their stupidity.
