A salesman told us the floor covering could run and be trimmed lengthwise to minimize the number of seams, but when the installer showed up he said it couldn't be done that way.
Then he salesman changed his tune and sided with the installer. Only when we threatened to
pull the order did he finally get an installer who could do it the way he first promised.
The salesman also promised that the installer would move the stove and fridge but when he showed up he said he couldn't move the stove and we had to scramble for a gas fitter on short
notice. We had to re-schedule appliance deliveries and didn't get the work complete for two weeks, and didn't get even a hint of an apology. All the salesman said was "thanks again for your patience"...and he hadn't ever thanked us a first time.
It's clear to us that Hourigans doesn't appreciate its customers, and we will never again
visit them.

Hourigans used to be very good and professional and took pride in their work. The new owners have left the reputation built by the previous owners, over many years, behind. Shoddy work by horrible contract
installers and a "don't care" attitude now prevail.
Please--look elsewhere !

THESE PEOPLE INSTALLED A CARPET AND LINO IN AN APARTMENT I OWN..WITHOUT CONSULTATION, SENT A BILL 6 MONTHS LATER TO MY PROPERTY MANAGER..WHO REFUSED IT. NEVER HAD ANY AUTHORISATION TO DO THE INSTALL. OVERCHARGED, THEN ATTEMPTED TO DESTROY MY CREDIT RATING BECAUSE I CHALLENGED THE BILL!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!

I had laminate and lino floors installed in my house by Hourigans. The person that helped me select the flooring told me that certain things would be done that were never completed and after numerous phone calls that spanned over months, the manager told me that they never said that they would do them. This was after the company failed to return my calls or discuss my questions on the invoice in timely fashion while interest built up on my bill. The customer service is terrible. I will never use this company again. I was so disappointed.
