Heads up this is a long one.
I've debated for a couple years about if I was going to say anything. But I am now. I thought by now that my anger would have faded. But apparently not. So here goes. 3 years ago my cardiologist left the local clinic I used. So I got assigned to this guy. I had been having some issues and I thought he was capable of helping me. However he proved that he is just like every other cardiologist that dismissed my heart issues for 8 years until finally someone listened and found the issue and put on my pacemaker. Then some other issues arose that were kinda terrifying. So I came in to see what he could do about it. However I was met with immediate dismissal. And when I pushed for further testing was put through a stress test that at the time was not the trigger for my issues and I made that very clear. Not once did he investigate my pacemaker or make me feel like I was anything other than a pest to him. I was 26. With a severe heart condition. But I guess because I'm young it can't possibly be serious. But it was serious enough that I need a pacemaker to keep going. It was the final straw for me. It's not his fault alone, but he plays a huge part in the ongoing trend of doctors in cardiology cannot be trusted especially for people who are young. I have been in therapy for a year now working towards learning to trust cardiologists again. Thankfully I found someone who understands my trauma and everything I've been through to get myself the treatment I deserve. In one appointment she has done more for me than he did in 6 months of appointments that I drove over an hour to get to. The front desk staff is kind. The techs are also very kind. If this is your experience also I implore you, fight for better for yourself.

Absolutely impressed with Dr. Elesber. He listens and explains everything so clearly, he knows exactly what he is doing. He is straight to the point and very professional and caring. I’m so thankful my doctor referred me to him.

I appreciate how thorough Dr. Elesber is. He asked questions to understand what issues I wanted to address. He also helped clarify how we would proceed with tests that were relevant for me. Great experience.

I give this medical office 5 stars because they have the most timely appointments and the staff are supportive and caring, almost as much as Dr. Elesber. 😀
I feel very confident my heart is in very competent hands. Thank you all for taking your time with me and listening to me jabber…I truly appreciate it.
