Each black… The Art Factory is a mobile painting studio that sets up at locations around the GTA and beyond. We offer two types of group activities: <p> Collaborative Mural: A single photo is chosen, the image is then simplified in Photoshop, massively enlarged and cut into 16x20 inch pieces. Each black and white portion of the original image is then laminated to canvases like a page out of colouring book. Team members work with their neighbours along with an attached colour versions of their own unique canvas image in order to accurately mix and match the paints. At the end of the event, all the canvases are assembled together and everyone gets to see their place in the bigger picture. The mural is then hung on an office wall as a memento of your team's shared history. <p> Paint Party: An original 16"x20" work of art is chosen from our gallery ( http://artfactory.cc/gallery/) and participants all follow along as an instructor takes them through the process of recreating it, step by step. <p> All events include professional instruction by one of our resident artists, a talented assistant if needed along with drop sheets to protect the floors, plastic cloths for the tables, aprons for the participants and of course brushes, easels, canvases and a bottomless buffet of water-soluble acrylic paint. <p> This is a "turn-key" activity requiring nothing but enough chairs and table space for each participant.
