They are different from body butter because their silky texture absorbs deep into the lower layers of the epidermis, without leaving an oily residue. Scientifically formulated to nourish and soothe skin, the body velvets are made with the finest certified organic ingredients and checked against the Safe Cosmetics Database. Unlike most body creams and lotions, our velvets are not made with unpurified waters; instead, we use hydrosols. Hydrosols are the purest waters, infused with essential oils and botanical matter. Each body velvet has their own mood-enhancing fragrances such as energizing white tea and ginger, calming lavender, and some of them even contain ingredients with aphrodisiac properties. Our avocado butter and Brazilian nut butter bases provide relief for a variety of skin conditions, without harsh chemicals and additives. Our Fragrance-free, paraben-free, unscented body velvet is carefully made for delicate, sensitive skin. As we make our product by hand, we can also offer custom made body butter to fit your style.
