After earning his Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine at the Patna University in Bihar, India, Dr. Das relocated to the United States to complete his internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. He then moved to New Hampshire and, after developing a strong interest in sleep medicine, completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. At Athena Medical Clinic and Sleep Medicine Associates of Athens, Dr. Das offers primary care services for adults and sleep-related disorder treatments for both children and adults. In addition to comprehensive annual wellness visits, evaluation, and treatment of diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Dr. Das has a state-of-the-art sleep lab to perform sleep studies and to evaluate different sleep disorders. He prescribes the appropriate durable medical equipment (DME) when needed.
