**BEWARE** I have had the WORST experience I have ever had with an insurance company here. BEWARE OF THEIR QUOTES. Once my quote was finalized, I chose to proceed with Desjardins and my policy was subsequently bound and I made my first payment on FEBRUARY 1st. I then received a phone call from Brij 3 weeks LATER and was told that they found out I had a speeding ticket from March 4, 2016. Note, today's date is Feb 22, 2019 -- therefore, this ticket will be removed from my driving record in 10 DAYS. Although I advised Brij that ALL tickets should have been accounted for and Desjardins should ensure to do their due diligence prior to binding ANY insurance policies, I asked if they were going to INCREASE MY POLICY for the next 10 days and subsequently REDUCE it back to my ORIGINAL, BOUND POLICY on March 4, 2019. The emailed response I received from Brij stated "with this conviction, it will impact your premium till next renewal. Your revised annual premium is $5322 for auto insurance starting on 03/04/19."

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ALMOST $2K HIGHER THAN MY BOUND POLICY and March 4, 2019 is the SAME DATE IN WHICH THIS TICKET IS NO LONGER ON MY RECORD. So long story short: they want to increase my premium starting on March 4, 2019 based on this ticket, however this is also the SAME DATE THIS TICKET WILL NO LONGER BE ON MY DRIVING RECORD. So this company wants me to pay 11 months of premium with this ticket on my record, even though it will be removed off my driving record in 10 days. Not an acceptable way at all to conduct business.

Do not use this insurance company as your premium may increase even have you have bound your policy and after you have made payments. Have Lawyer on stand-by!
