At the age of 25, the car Jared was riding was struck from behind by a 3 time D.U.I. offender going nearly 150 mph. His wife and high school sweetheart Paige was killed, and Jared was burned on over half of his body. It took him nearly 3 years and 50 surgeries to recover from everything physically.
