Had a good experience with Richfield. Plumber on site was knowledgeable, had to problem solve together making sure we scoped the right line the first time over the phone. After the work was done, let them know we were on a deadline for the report and they were happy to go above and beyond to assure we had the report the next morning.

Would recommend this company, worth the call!

We experienced a relatively emergent plumbing catastrophe which involve a toilet, overflowing and running through our vents and onto floors below. Richfield was able to come out relatively quickly. They sourced the problem, fixed the problem, and I felt very confident in the technician. We will definitely use them again for all of our plumbing needs.

Richfield plumbing installed a water heater and replaced an outdoor faucet last year. This year they checked out all of my house plumbing and replaced a bathroom faucet. They are professional, thorough, and kind. All in all excellent service and work.

Steve came this time and was extremely helpful and convivial. He was very open to my questions and provided good information about various issues including water purification for drinking water.

Last year Taylor came as water was leaking into the basement. The problem was a broken outdoor water tap that had frozen. He also installed a new water heater - happy to have very hot water! Once again, he was very pleasant and helpful.

To my mind, the rates at Richfield are competitive. And the service is excellent. They perform excellent work and are extremely helpful. A terrific company.

I had Richfield recommended to me for some small plumbing repairs/upgrades in my condo. The experience from start to finish was exceptional. The most pleasant surprise was things I thought may need replacing only needed a cleaning and maintenance! Big savings! Honest evaluation!
Stephanie organized everything over the phone with pictures and videos and their schedule just happened to allow for a technician to be at my place within a couple hours.
Steve did a thorough preventative maintenance inspection, alleviating a lot of worry and identified a few things that may be looked into down the road.
My final bill was exactly what my quote was after our initial discussion and the direction I chose to take.
I highly recommend this company. Not only do I feel they are reputable and honest with quality workmanship, but i definitely got the feeling if I ever had a problem it would be resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

I’ve used them before for a toilet install and a powered anode rod with good results so when a hot water line started to leak I didn’t hesitate to call them. They booked a prompt date and time to assess the issue, sent confirming texts, let me know when they were 30 minutes out and arrived on time. The issue was quickly identified and some sections of pipe were replaced without the need for booking a further appointment. An inspection of other household plumbing was conducted and another issue requiring a minor adjustment was identified and corrected. The cost was discussed up front and approved. The office contacted me after plumber Steve left to make sure everything was good.

Two days before our Christmas dinner party, we had no hot water because our boiler stopped working. We called three companies and only Richfield returned our call to book an appointment for the next day, so they are reliable. After a dispatch and diagnostic fee of $427, the plumber turned off, then on again, the boiler switch on the wall. The boiler started working again but he did not know the reason it stopped in the first place.

On the plus side, Steve is very knowledgeable about boiler systems and gave us a comprehensive estimate for maintaining the boiler. However, he may be a little too thorough and deliberate because he had difficulty understanding that I was anxious to get the appointment over with. This was because of the large group of family I had coming the next day.

Steve also gave us hope on the possibility of adding a zone to the in-floor heating on the main floor. The room furthest from the boiler, has been colder since we built this house 20 years ago. I look forward to resolving this. In the next few months, we plan to get the boiler cleaned and do all the maintenance that Steve suggested. I highly recommend this company.

This is our first time trying Richfield. Stephanie was great at taking down our request for service on various heating & plumbing systems in our new house and was able to fit us in sooner than I’d thought! Erik arrived on time, was very polite & pleasant to deal with. He checked out our systems and explained things to me & my husband, and answered any questions I had. Erik also explained options that might be helpful and would make our current systems work better. We will definitely be having Richfield back to follow up on some further work to be done here!
