We have been Clifton for approximately 5 + years. Unfortunately because of the storms in 2024 we had to file our 1st claim for roof damage. When my wife called; Clifton made us get two estimates before he would even consider filing a claim. Once I did and both contractors said the roof needed to be replaced because of hail & wind damage Clifton filed the claim and turned it over to a Steven Ainsworth a claims specialist. He sent out a company who supposedly assessed my damage but it was nothing but a HUGE scam. Claiming that I was only missing 8 shingles when there are at least 13 total shingles missing. BUT this company did not note any other damage done to the roof or our dormer.

One of the major leaks I had was my dormer and it was brought to Steven's attention and it wasn't even on the claim report. Steven's solution was for me to tarp it. Tarp a 45degree angle roof at my age is darn near impossible without a lift. Which I ended up having to rent in order to fix the dormer leak. They claim the damage done was worth $1,200 of and my deductable is $1,333 so no payout.

3 more + thunderstorms later we found multiple leaks in my roof. Clifton who is suppose to represent you just left us hanging. No return or followup calls; no communication; NOTHING and I sent him at least one email concerning this matter.

Apparently the almost $4,000 we pay a year, between home owners and auto wasn’t enough to cover a new roof. We are going to leave State Farm & Clifton for an insurance company that will at least cover a claim. State Farm & nothing but a HUGE PONZI scheme. They take your money but don't want to pay out if you ever have to use it.
