The Toronto showroom is not to be missed by design enthusiasts. I left the space so inspired (and with an antique hand-painted Tibetan storage box), it's a simply stunning space. I returned a few months later to speak with owner Dale about the customization of one of their large pantry designs. He was exceptionally helpful, didn't try to hard sell me at all, but did explain how we'd work together through the design process and then how the piece would be handcrafted out of reclaimed woods from demolished historical sites in Asia. Certainly worth a stop in if you're considering well-made wood furniture. Their designs are all Asian-inspired but they would work with just about any decor. I totally salivate over their small collection of antiques: really beautiful and unique!

This store packs a lot into a small space on an upper floor. It offers unique and gorgeous furniture including tables, chairs, Chinese armoirs, curio boxes, etc. The prices are much higher than Ikea, but the pieces are artworks. Staff are knowledgeable about their collection. I enjoy going just to browse (art gallery style)! The street also houses a few neighbouring furniture/art stores, making the trip downtown to Carlaw worthwhile for those interested in furniture shopping.
