She completed her medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine and went on to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at Mt Sinai West. Dr. Shah then further specialized in Rheumatology through a three year research and clinical fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.As an Assistant Professor at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Dr. Shah is committed to educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians. She is a graduate of the USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists) program, where she gained expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
