It's great to see Sandy's has survived the onslaught of big boxes and fancy boutiques. It's a place to go if you want a reliable bike with after purchase service. No pressure. Lots of knowledge. You deal with David, the owner. He'll fix pretty much anything. Tonight he was working on, believe it or not, a wood-frame bicycle wheel. Aside from bikes he has a collection of books some going back a few centuries. His shop is a fixture in the neighborhood. No neon signs. Look for a bike frame on a pole. A must place to visit if you're looking for a bike.
