This means that our client is only charged a fee if there is a recovery by way of settlement or verdict. There is no charge for the initial consultation and investigation in a contingent fee case even if the case is not pursued. If the case is not the type that can be handled on a contingent fee basis, we charge an hourly rate that reflects our years of experience and the customary rates for lawyers in our area. Read more
