LANDSCAPING:
Gary's landscaper, Tim, was thorough and organized. He gave us good ideas about what could be done to the yard while being mindful of our budget.
One thing that was important to us was that every time Tim said he would do something, he did it. That gave us confidence and trust in him.
When Tim completed his work, he made sure we had the knowledge and tools needed to take care of the grass after he was gone.
The patio he installed is beautiful. The grass is growing and we are enjoying our new pool!
Tim exceeded our expectations. He was a joy to work with!

They did a great job. Successfully completed the pool project without any major issues. They dealt with the minor issues well. The pool is beautiful and really glad we chose to go with Backyard Living. Its a complex task, so going with a team that has been around awhile helps a lot. Tim and his crew did a great job with the landscaping as well, adding tons of rocks to help with drainage and got the place looking much nicer- grass is growing quickly. They also seem to be ready to help long term with anything that might pop up. Overall, happy with the work and grateful for many years of pool enjoyment.

Tim & Ron worked 5 days landscaping my yard and did an excellent job! No pool in this case but re-grading slope with rock, improving drainage, building patio, and planting shrubs. Highly conscientious, patient, detail-oriented, very pleasant interactions throughout. Thanks guys!

7/2/26 update: As promised, Tim & Ron came back to finish some further work and fix a few things, and again I am pleased with their hard work and cheerful attitude. In my experience with these guys, a handshake is as good as a legal document--fully reliable.

We highly recommend Backyard Living Pool and Spa from Washington IL. We purchased a TS240 Master Spa and love it. It is smaller to fit on our patio but has 26 jets and seating for 3. That is a lot of jets.

Samantha & Karen were outstanding in the store and Gary and a young man came out and got it all set up. This comes with the cover, steps and great start up kit.

Go check them out. Lots of Hot Tubs to look at.
