We bought a used car from European Auto about two years ago for $6k. After putting only about 20,000 miles on it, the engine blew and the car ultimately had to be junked. During that short time, we also replaced the alternator, starter, muffler, battery, tires, and e-brake, costing several thousand dollars in addition to typical maintenance. We just had to buy another car weeks before sending our daughter to college.

On a positive note, the staff here is always responsive, helpful, professional, and did fix the alternator issue as it arose within a week or so of buying the vehicle. Buying a used car is always a gamble, but unfortunately the outcome with this vehicle was disappointing. Please know that this review is solely to encourage buyers to make an informed decision about buying used cars with largely unknown histories.

I purchased a 2012 Volvo from Vinny and his wife recently and i am overall very satisfied with the vehicle and their service. Vinny was upfront and personable, he provided a vehicle history report, and give my plenty of time too look over the car and test drive. Unfortunately the test drive did not reveal thag the alternator was about to go bad, and 20 minutes after purchase it stopped working. FORTUNATELY Vinny was more than willing to take the car back and replace the alternator free or charge! Ge got it replaced very quickly, and the car has been as described and good since. Would consider purchasing from them again if need be in the future. If youre looking for an honest, low pressure car buying experience this is the place.

Bought a 2007 Volvo XC70 here on 11/20/2025. On 12/5/2025, I was about an hour from home with the vehicle and all of a sudden it started smoking. All the coolant leaked out of it. I’m very very unhappy. Paid $6,500 for this rig (which is astoundingly overpriced). Car had extremely low mileage and the interior/exterior was in fantastic shape.

I would highly recommend European auto sales to anyone who’s looking for a preowned vehicle. Andressa and Vinny were great to work with. Their no pressure approach was very much appreciated and they were kind professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I bought a Volvo from European Motors 1 year ago…. It had 56,000 miles on it and I paid cash for it. It has 60,000miles on it now for reference.
I drove it for 1 month then stored it for personal reasons. I recently went to take it out of storage and took it to my trustworthy mechanic to make sure it was safe for my daughter to drive. After spending $1600 to fix the radio that just died one day, I lost trust in European motors as I also noticed a lot of things were glued , side mirrors the seat adjuster…. Whatever, my mechanic said the transmission was gone.
I gave European motors the opportunity to make it right and buy the car back at half the price. Maybe even a trade if I had my mechanic look at it first.
They said, no thank you. My son’s friend bought a Volvo there a year ago and it didn’t even last the year, it was junk as well.
I wish someone advised me not to go there so here I am…. Do not buy a car there no matter what! They sell junk but make it look appealing so you don’t notice.
Also they are not affiliated with the better business bureau and that speaks volumes when you’re investing in a vehicle.
They are scam artists…. And I fell for it, please don’t you do the same.
