You'll be charged $250 per year for 3 years by the DPS if you plead guilty or are convicted of not having insurance or having expired insurance. You'll be charged $100 a year for 3 years by the DPS if you are convicted of or plead guilty to driving without a license. If you get over 6 points on your driving record, it'll cost you $100 per point. Be aware that most moving violations, including speeding, add 2 points to your record. Don't risk a DWI.
