I had the privilege of having Dr. Miriam Champer as my OB during my first pregnancy. I am so incredibly thankful for her knowledge expertise. From day one I felt supported and heard during my high risk pregnancy. I received great care & when it came down to it had a great scheduled C - Section with her and Dr. Smith. I could go on but am very thankful for this team of doctors at east cascade, including the midwives!

Dr. Julie Wheir just delivered our third little one and even though we had not met before my delivery, she made us feel safe and completely at ease.

If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Wheir by your side through pregnancy, birth, and beyond, know that you are in the hands of someone who is exceptionally knowledgeable, genuinely empathetic, witty and warm, and an all-around wonderful physician.

I can’t say enough good things about Kathryn Johnston.

I first met with her last summer to discuss my fertility journey. After trying to conceive for several months, I noticed that my irregular periods seemed to be affecting the process. Kathryn immediately recognized that this could be a contributing factor and ordered lab work and an ultrasound, which ultimately led to a diagnosis of PCOS. She then worked with me to develop a treatment plan, and for the first time, I felt like I had real answers and a clear path forward. I became pregnant in December, just a few months later. While I know lifestyle changes also played a role, I truly believe the medication plan helped make that possible.

Throughout my pregnancy, Kathryn has been incredible. The beginning of my pregnancy was especially difficult after receiving an incorrect diagnosis of a nonviable pregnancy from other providers at East Cascades. That experience created a great deal of anxiety that carried into my first and second trimesters. At every appointment, Kathryn took the time to sit with my husband and me, answer our questions, and provide reassurance. Her compassion, patience, and knowledge made an enormous difference during a very emotional time.

Kathryn is a truly exceptional clinician who genuinely cares about her patients. I am incredibly grateful for the care, support, and guidance she has provided throughout this journey.

I just love East Cascades. The level of care and compassion is unmatched. I just moved down to San Diego and I miss my care team so much. Dr. Hulbert is one of a kind and I am so sad I don't have her a my doctor anymore. She is everything you want in a doctor. So intelligent and compassionate. Kristin, RN is incredible too. So personable and treats you like family. They just all have your back when you need them. Thank you for everything you've done for me! I wish I could find a clinic down in San Diego like East Cascades but unfortunately, nothing comes close.

Absolutely love Kathryn, she's very informative, very kind, and understanding. I was very anxious about my first ever appointment and she brought in a vibrant relaxed energy.
