We believe by strengthening the bonds of community and family across all our Associates and Resident Members, we are better able to bring our Resident Members home and make Boardwalk an inviting and inclusive place to live where Residents feel a real sense of belonging. Today, we continue to draw inspiration from our early days, taking pride in who we are, what we do, and why as we immerse ourselves in a culture that welcomes home all who wish to be a part of a community built on love and mutual respect. Together, Boardwalk’s Resident Members and Associates believe in creating caring communities where our daily living experiences are best defined by a common understanding of “why” - “why” we are who we are and “why” we do what we do. This understanding is best articulated in our Golden Foundation: Treat others as you would like to be treated; Be Good; Love Community; and, Have Fun. Whether you live or work with us, you are an integral part of our Boardwalk family and, together, we all bring our shared vision of building better communities to life. We remain committed to this core purpose because we have learned that nourishing long-terms relationships with (and between) our Associates and Resident Members is the best way to meet the needs of our communities and build strong and thriving communities Read more
