The only thing I used to know about garage doors was how to open and close them. Who knew that there were so many details involved with buying and installing a new door? I had no idea how to take measurements or even find a style that worked with the rest of the place. Barmac came to my rescue. They made the measurements so there was no doubt about the dimensions. Then they talked to me about the merits of insulation and pinch protection. In the end, I chose the Amarr Stratford for the looks and the fact that it came with features that I could use. Thank you! I always dread calling companies to replace anything around the house. People are so rude these days! Even so, I knew that I needed a new set of garage doors, so I called Barmac based on a recommendation from a neighbour.

From the first hello, I was treated with courtesy and respect. That same attitude was present when a representative came out and checked my garage. Even the team that installed my new door couldn’t have been nicer.

We’ve been living in this old home for many years and our garage has always been open air. After some discussion my wife and I decided to reinforce and enclose it. The idea of having the garage door is to secure our belongings and to also store some stuff had always made sense. We had major issues with the old garage due to poor insulation. We tinker around out there all year so need to keep it heated some time. It was really running up the costs in our home. They had the right material we were looking for to keep our garage insulated and it really has made a difference on energy efficiency in our home.
