I normally do not write reviews, but this one simply writes itself, or I feel it would be a dishonor to others not to share my experience. When originally signing the contract, we were promised time to meet for design work, which was booked shortly, then they cancelled on us and then rescheduled, this behavior was repeated for over two years. Owners only reinforced the actions of the employees', and further talked about legal actions if my wife did not stop "bugging them with questions" and let them build the pool. To put it another way, things only got done when I asked, not my wife, which made things very difficult. It must be fair to say, after working with them, their shiny logo and nice-looking images only hide the archaic old values of an old-fashioned thinking construction company. Be careful, they are good at selling, but any benefits promised will certainly be more costly, of course, without legal assistance. My advice, avoid at all costs, otherwise you might not be as lucky as I was to actually get the pool.

I purchased a house with an inground pool last July (2014). I have never owned a pool in my life but it's been a lifelong dream of mine and I am pretty handy so I figured I could handle it. Turns out caring for a 66,000L pool alone as a young single gal is... challenging, to say the very least. And my particular pool has very unique challenges, apparently. I think I cried over that pool more than I have cried over any boy in my entire life.

Darren (service) and Charles (parts) have both talked me off the ledge several times when I have called them or burst into their offices in sheer panic (once I was there 4 times in the same day). They promptly answer emails/phone calls and go over-and-above to provide the best customer care I've ever encountered. With their counselling (and parts supply), I removed my old busted sand filter and installed a new one. They offered their services to do this for me but when I stubbornly said I could do it myself, they offered nothing but support and guidance... and then huge accolades when I successfully installed it myself. I have an irregular skimmer basket and Oasis actually jury-rigged up a semi-perfect skimmer basket out of random parts, since what I actually needed doesn't exist on the planet (and they did this for next to nothing, cost-wise). They are also nothing short of exemplary at eliminating frustrations/stress with their expert advice and quick attention to your pool issues/needs. I have Oasis open/close my pool, too, and I have my water samples analyzed pretty much bi-weekly for expert chemical guidance.

I'm a small-town girl and this city business really feels like a small-town shop in the way they care for their customers, in my humble opinion. They've got my business and they should have yours, too. Tell them Ginger sent you.

The service and support we continue to receive from the Oasis Service Department is exemplary.

We live in a rural community more than 160 km north of Winnipeg and find the fee for long distance service to be very reasonable.
] When have we needed service on our spa (three times over the last ten years) the technicians who arrived were punctual, friendly, experienced, properly equipped and thorough. They were always comfortable with me watching their work and were happy to answer my questions and give advice for the future. Their work was always completed to the best of workman-like standards. Kudos to J.P. and his staff!

It must be noted that the first inclination of the service department is not simply to set up a service call if one can be avoided. In this, Darren Synchyshyn, Service & Parts Assistant Manager, is the linchpin.  He is patient and methodical both in analyzing a problem and in explaining, in simple step-by-step language over the phone, how to fix it - no mean feat given the complexity of hardware/software issues to someone who is not skilled in the trade. Outstanding!
