I hired Best Movers Toronto for a move to my new home 30 minutes away. The movers handled my furniture and belongings carefully. They protected the hardwood floors with cardboard and placed boxes in the correct rooms based on labels. The team assembled furniture and positioned the mattress as requested. I’ve used this company the two times I’ve had big moves and have absolutely no complaints. They are punctual, hardworking, and very professional. They even offered me a ride to my new place since I didn’t have a car. None of my items were damaged, and they even helped me take apart a few items that couldn’t fit through the doorway of my new place. When I have to move again, I know who I will reach out to!

These movers were great! They showed up early and had our entire home packed into the truck in just under 1.5 hours. They were friendly, hardworking and careful with all of our stuff. We were worried all our stuff wouldn't fit in the uhaul but they packed it so well we had tons of leftover space! Would recommend :)

We had two movers. They showed up 15 minutes early, which was amazing! We booked with them for 2 hours thinking we may have to do half the work once they were gone. They got everything done in an hour and 15 minutes. They were quick, professional and considerate of our belongings. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move!

A few months ago, I used this moving service. I was so sure I wrote a review, but it may have been removed? It is possible it didn't submit properly.
Anyway, the service itself was fine - the movers were quite professional - when they were doing their job. Based off those factors alone, four stars would be warranted. Along the way, two issues came up.
1. Break times: During the moving process, I caught the employees on smoke and phone breaks; I didn't care until they became excessive and they tried to cover it up. This was only a four hour move.
2. When I drove my car to the new place, they told me they would be there shortly after they stop for lunch. I was waiting for an hour once I got to the new place, to which I rushed to, as I stopped for lunch as well. I don't mind the stopping for lunch - wait what? This was on my time???? Yep - I had to pay for that extra hour when they were on lunch. There was no discount.
This was gouging. Granted.it could have been worse, but bad enough to deduct two stars from my rating.
When everything was done, I felt a little intimidated when they suggested I tip them and give them a handwritten review so they can give to their boss. Who is going to write something less than positive when they're standing right there?
I wouldn't suggest staying away from them per se, but I would advise on doing a little more research - maybe looking at the fine print to ensure you get what you pay for. I think speaking with the owner/management beforehand to establish who is going to cover break times should suffice.
