Dr. Nolan is currently in private practice in the Houston area and uses his extensive training and skill to treat patients in need of arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Nolan began his medical career with an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin before receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Throughout this time, he completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Scott and White Memorial Hospital. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship with a focus on reconstructive surgery of the knee under R.G. Stone, MD. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Nolan is now a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Nolan’s other achievements include serving as the chief of staff and on the board of directors at Memorial Hermann Fort Bend Medical Center. His coworkers also voted him best surgeon of Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital in 2009.
