I have banked with Capital One for many years, but I decided I wanted a brick and mortar bank where I could go to cash a check or talk to someone about wealth management or whatever.

I went to this bank one Friday morning around 11:00. When I came in, there were no customers and there weren’t any workers either. After a second, a man came from the back. He asked me, rather rudely, what I needed. I told him I wanted to open an account. I had just gotten a refund from financial aid for about $5500 and wanted to start a new account with it. He told me that he didn’t have time to open any accounts that day and to come back the next day. I looked around and said, there’s no one here, how do you not have time? He again told me to come back the next day.

It will be a cold day in hell before I go back there. I just traveled my happy butt down the road to BECU and opened my account. Not only did they have time and open a checking and savings account, but I was able to get a car loan and bought myself the car I have been wanting for a long time, at a really good interest rate. I got a credit card where I was able to transfer my other balances and pay less in interest. I also was able to talk to a very knowledgeable lady about wealth management and learned some important lessons.

I have thought about that incident a lot and the only reason I can think of that he would act that way is because I am a black woman. I am used to people being ignorant about my race, especially since we’ve moved to this area, it comes with the territory, but they usually aren’t so blatant.

Well, you guys lost a good customer because your employee doesn’t know how to treat people. I have a 24-year-old son who just sold a very lucrative business and was looking for somewhere to park his money. You can be assured BECU got another customer, even though Wells Fargo is just half a mile from our home. That’s sad, but not only that, it is disgusting and I now understand why you are sued so often.

Was really happy with the service. The employee who served us Aliya was very professional, helpful and pleasant, as well as Madisson and a man whose name I forgot to ask. They helped to open an account, answered all questions i had about banking system and gave a lot of advice. Would definitely recommend!

I only come here to deposit checks for someone else's account and every time the transaction is efficient. There is almost no wait, parking is a breeze, and the staff are friendly.

Maybe if I get tired of Bank of America's super slow service I may jump ship to this bank.

I looked crazy coming in to cash a check half way through a hair dye job (never again will i SPLAT my hair) and no one blinked an eye. Guy behind tbe counter was friendly, fast, and funny. With this being a newer , smaller location, there wasnt any wait which made my visit that much nicer. So if you have the time(no drive through) and are in need of banking with a smile I full on suggest this Wells Fargo branch.😊
