Going on four years of being a customer regarding alterations, sewing etc. I bring my winter coat to get dry cleaned, only to find that when I picked it up the faux fur hood is ruined. I was rudely told that it was my responsibility, that they just take the coat and hand it over to be dry cleaned. I am aware that they have no accountability and yes absolutely no refund was stated more than once. I get it.
But what happened to simple customer service? Would it have killed anyone to perhaps suggest I remove the fur hood first? Or (gasp!) maybe they could have done this as a service to a customer? I was told that I should have known better.
The owner (a lady) was very rude, shrill in her responses, and acted as if it was my fault for not knowing any better.
On other sites I see that this is not the first complaint against this business regarding attitude, so yes, I guess I'M the one who should have know better than to go there.
ANY other dry cleaners is a better choice than this one.
