We Hired Jeff to do a home inspection on a home we were thinking about purchasing. This home was built in the 1920's he told us. Jeff found some knob and tube wiring and galvanized pipes in the home. Before Jeff told us we had no idea of the insurance issues. We went back and re-negotiated our deal to compensate for the cost of removal and replacement (a total of $15000)
