I have used this Merivale location for many years for my mammograms, but yesterday January 22, 2025, I found my technician hurt me. She was a middle-aged lady named Sue and I found the procedure painful and her demeanor not as nice as the younger ones in there, I am 63 and need gentle reassurance and gentle hands when slamming the machine down on my breasts. I did not enjoy my visit yesterday with my mammogram as I was sore the rest of the evening. The other staff there however are AMAZING!

You had a requisition for two images and only did one. Last year you lost a bone scan done for my wife. I will go elsewhere for the X ray you failed to do.

I have used this particular location for years and would highly recommend it. From the booking agents to the front desk staff, the service is great. In particular though, the technicians are amazing....friendly, very courteous and most respectful. I also appreciate that they are so efficient....always on time with appointments. You are in and out very quickly.

Booking- Despite having a brief wait on the phone, the booking agents were excellent. We were waiting for a fax from my doctors office and within moments of receipt they had called me to schedule things.
The Montfort Hospital had booked me for January 31 2017 for my bone density while MMI had appointments open all week. I am going today. Will write back after my appointment with further review.

This will be the fourth time I have used this facility and have never had a bad experience.

I would like to thank everyone at the clinic for the timely appointments, to all the follow ups. Sometimes its a little overwhelming waiting to hear good or bad news but all in all it was a good experience.

I totally agree, this operation was once 'One of the Great Ones', based on my recent experience those days are done. One booking agent couldn't get the type of tests requisitioned correct and I'm still waiting to clear up yet again another appointment duplication. Wait times are reflective of a hospital emergency department.

I haven't had my appointment yet. It took several weeks just to get a real person on the phone. I'd call, wait through their "greater than usual call volume" message, wait more until the only option is to leave a message, I would leave a message, get a callback a day later that I'd miss because I was at work (they had both numbers, but only tried one), then I'd have to go through the whole process over again because they only try once to return my call. It got to the point where I was afraid to use the bathroom in case I would miss the one return call! It was extremely frustrating and it took several weeks to finally get an appointment. Every time I call, regardless of time of day, they are experiencing greater than normal call volumes. Maybe it's time to hire another receptionist/scheduler. Alternatively, they could set up the system to allow callers to leave a message without waiting on hold first. Had my doctor not expressed a clear preference that I get my images here, I would have gone elsewhere.

Efficient clinic. Didn't have to wait long to get an appointment and hardly waited at all once I arrived at Merivale for my test. Staff were friendly and polite - from the booking clerk, to the front desk staff, to the technologist who performed my scan.
