I recently purchased a 2017 Honda civic si and immediately knew that I needed to upgrade my sound system to get more bass.

I was recommended actually from the guy who sold my car at a Honda Dealership to go to EHR and see Tony they are the best.

I followed up on this recommendation and was extremely pleased.

From the sales team - Tony my first point of contact to the installers Christian and Corey - I could not be happier. From the friendly service to the exceptional installation quality and finally a final product I could not be happier with.

Thanks EHR for all your hard work and I now understand why you have the reputation as the best stereo installers in Ontario! I will be back soon and will be recommending you to all my family and friends!

John.

Today I had a Clifford 5906X car alarm installed by Mark at East Hamilton Radio. I am completely satisfied with job done. I would recommend East Hamilton Radio for your car alarm installation.

East Hamilton Radio is one of those rare gems, hiding in a sea of dollar stores and used item dealers that have taken over Kenilworth and Barton Street in the east end. Kitty corner to EHR is one of the largest welfare cheque cashing businesses in the city. And here I stand, looking at at $20,000 home theatre setup with a 6000 inch plasma television. Ok ok, it's not 6000 inches, but next to my 32", its big. Real big.

Their Boxing Day Sale is something I try to take in every year. They are the masters of lost leaders, and I'm a sucker for a bargain on electronics. A match made in heaven I say.

I've been on the lookout for a better DVD player, not blu-ray. I think the blu-ray players are still way over priced and will come down in 2009, so I was just looking for something a little better in the standard definition arena - something with up-conversion, DivX (a gotta have these days) and some bells and whistles. The EHR flyer had just the ticket - a unit from Panasonic with a SRP of $299, normally on sale for $149, and available this week for $77. Bingo. Off we go.

EHR is a mad house during Boxing Week. I'm not the only dude that likes to spend a half hour ogling at high-end elctronics I'll never be able to afford then make off like a bandit with a piece or two of lower end stuff that's on sale. Massive plasmas, $5000 amplifiers. Out-of-this-world speakers.

==sigh==

Now here is where EHR shines. They were apparently out-of-stock on the DVD player I wanted even though the computer said they still had one. Not only that, but the flyer I was looking at was labelled Dec 26 only. I was so focused on the $77 I missed the cutoff date. The sales guy says "hang on a sec" and disappears. A few minutes later he's got a Panasonic box tucked under his arm and the manager in tow. He found one in the stock room, and the manager took pity on me (I'm sure because of the long look that had grown over my face) and gave me the unit for the advertised price - $77. Ha! Try THAT at Radio Shack.

Still a great place to geek out amidst all the hi-fidelity stuff, and still some attention to detail that only a locally-owned and operated business can give. Not to mention a wicked $300 DVD player for 75% off. THAT'S what I'm talking about.
