They're extremely difficult to get a hold of, don't honour their warranty, and are rude. They don't stand by the quality of their workmanship. Go with another company or you'll be SOL the second something goes wrong.

We recently moved into a house that had the roof redone ~8 years ago by Breno. When our kitchen ceiling started to leak, we found out that it was from no longer in use HVAC ductwork for venting the furnace out via the roof. We contacted Breno as our roof is still under warranty and all venting was replaced when the roof was redone, also by Breno.

We discovered the leak May 23rd and promptly called Breno. We have a leak originating from the roof, specifically from a vent that was replaced by Breno, that's still under warranty, they're the obvious call. It took multiple calls over weeks to finally get a hold of them. I'm talking 5-10 calls. They finally returned our call a bit over a week late and say they'll call next week to schedule a specific time to check it out. They never called to schedule, we called them again multiple times with no answer, but they did show up unexpectedly at the end of the week, almost 3 weeks after the initial leak & call.

The 2 men that showed up go to the roof, take some pictures and say that it is in fact what we suspected, the old furnace venting has a gap and that's why water is leaking in when it rains. They shared the pictures they took with us, which we are grateful for.
One of the men says that the only fix is to caulk it and asks if we'd like them to do it. We say yes and then they ask if $50 is okay. We agreed for them to do the caulking under the pretense that it was covered under warranty. The second we question the value / price, they immediately get defensive and rude. They hastily packed up their equipment and told us that we wasted their time. The roof is under warranty.

Based on all the reviews, they may be a fine company for initial work that pays, but the second you need them to stand by their work and honour their warranty, their personality changes.

Breno Roofing is THE BEST roofing company ever!! They were at our house last night in the near dark and freezing temperature fixing the roof!

TERRIBLE Post-Installation SERVICE!! BRENO Does Not care about the Quality of JOB !!!!!!

After what I thought was a successful roof repair with Breno a couple years ago, when my flat roof needed to be replaced I called Norbert and his team. Just as before they swooped in and replaced the roof, seemingly all good. I paid the bill and then it rained. And from that point on I have been nothing but disappointed with the service from Norbert and his team at Breno roofing.

Upon the first rainfall I was alarmed and within a few days called to complain about the large pool of water that just sits on the centre of my roof. Initially, Zaneta the receptionist answered and told me that Norbert said it was normal and that he would call me later to discuss. It's been over 2months now and I have yet to hear from Norbert despite my numerous calls, emails and texts to try and get some response to the situation.

Since that time I have had a contractor come in for an unrelated job and as he passed the window looking out onto the rooftop he couldn't help but make a comment on the poor installation and confirmed all my suspicions. Perhaps Norbert would agree if he'd ever respond to my calls and actually come look at the work that his company had provided.

Be Warned - this company is not RELIABLE.
